McGrane Raises More Than $160,000 for Republican Secretary of State Race

January 8, 2022 (Boise, ID) Phil McGrane, a Republican candidate to be Idaho’s next Secretary of State, reported today more than $160,000 in contributions, putting his campaign on pace to set a new primary cycle fundraising record for this constitutional office. Finance documents filed in the first reporting period show McGrane has raised a total of $163,489 so far thanks to contributions from more than 550 donors. The reports show growing support for McGrane coming from all corners of the state, from Idaho’s legal and small business sectors to its agricultural and natural resources communities. In addition to the financial backing that is raising the bar for this race, McGrane has also earned the endorsement of former GOP leaders like Governor Phil Batt, Secretary of State Ben Ysursa and Magic Valley Representative Maxine Bell. “Phil McGrane is one of the hardest working Republican election officials this state has. The depth of support released today proves he has a great team throughout Idaho who believe Phil McGrane is the candidate with the experience and integrity to be our next Republican Secretary of State.” said Maxine Bell, treasurer of McGrane’s campaign.

“We’re humbled to have such a broad base of support throughout the state. I am so grateful for so many in Idaho who have shown faith in me and my campaign. I look forward to continuing to share my vision for protecting Idaho elections, Idaho lands, and Idaho values,” said McGrane.
